  • February 2025 update - Merrylands CBD works

    Permanent road asphalt works on Addlestone Road/Merrylands Road Intersection, Merrylands will commence on Sunday 2 March 2025 from 7pm to 4am.

    Where are the works?

    The new road asphalt works will commence on Addlestone Road/Merrylands Road Intersection, Merrylands.

    What disruption is expected?

    • Addlestone Road will be closed on Sunday 2 March 2025 from 7pm to 4am at the intersection with Merrylands Road.
    • No Vehicle access onto Addlestone Road from Merrylands Road with detours in place.
    • There will be some impacts and potential delays on Merrylands Road throughout the asphalting works.
    • Access for pedestrians walking to homes and businesses will be maintained throughout these works.
    • Access to Addlestone Road carpark will remain open during these works.
    • There will be periods of medium to high level noise associated with the new road asphalt works.
    • Heavy compaction equipment will be compacting the new road asphalt.
    • All necessary precautions from noise, vibration and dust will be managed by CA&I.

  • December 2024 update - Merrylands CBD works

    Endeavour Energy completed the work they needed to do in mid December. This will now allow the remaining construction work to proceed.

    The remaining work will proceed at the start of 2025, and is anticipated to complete in March 2025.

    The safety and wellbeing of our community will remain our highest priority and we will keep the community updated and informed as work progresses.

  • October 2024 update - Merrylands CBD works

    The Merrylands CBD Drainage and Infrastructure Upgrade is progressing with Addlestone Road now open to southbound traffic from Merrylands Road, improving the traffic flow and easing congestion around the project.
