Due to the unprecedented wet weather we have been experiencing, works to complete the new stormwater infrastructure under Addlestone Rd near the intersection with Merrylands Road will be extended. It is now estimated that Addlestone Road will be opened to traffic by the end of August 2024 (subject to weather). There will be some instances after August 2024 when the western side of Addlestone Rd (i.e. North bound lane) will need to be closed for a period of time.

The works along western side of Addlestone Road will commence once necessary approvals from Endeavour Energy are in-place. We are waiting for Endeavour Energy to advise when the electrical relocation works can be done. We anticipate this part of the works should be completed by December 2024, which is when Addlestone Road will be permanently and fully opened to two-way traffic, but this depends on when we obtain Endeavour Energy approvals.
