August 2022 update:

The Pendle Hill Pedestrian Crossing has now been completed.


June 2022 notice:

Council will be commencing the modification of the existing Pedestrian Crossing at 124 Pendle Way located in the Pendle Hill shopping precinct.

Works includee the raising of the existing pedestrian crossing, which includes a raised platform with ramps either side, to improve pedestrian safety, construction of road blisters and road pavement works with associated signage and line-marking. A copy of the plans can be viewed in the document library.

Works will commence on 16 June 2022 and will be completed in early July with final line-marking completed late July.

Most works will be completed at night with appropriate traffic control and detours in place as required. Council will work with the contractor to do all that is possible to minimise disturbances.
