Regents Park Community Hub - Public Notice of Intention to Licence

July 2022 consultation:

Cumberland City Council gives notice under Section 47A of the Local Government Act 1993, of its intention to enter into a licence agreement with Austra-Lanka Muslim Association, the successful applicant in response to an open tender process (RFx243) that closed on 30 May 2022, for the purpose of providing community services and programs to the Sir Lankan community including education, prayer, community gatherings, lectures, workshops and career development.

The proposed licence is to be granted over part of the council-managed Community Land known as Regents Park Community Hub, 1D Amy Street, Regents Park NSW 2143 in Lot 1 Deposited Plan 434367.

The proposed terms and conditions of the Licence for consideration are as follows:

Premises: One semi-furnished, shared office space available to support the delivery of regular funded community-facing services and programs, suitable for community outreach.

Term: 2 Years

Commencement: August 2022

Fee: Lump sum offer put forward by the organisation
