September 2023 consultation:

We know the community values our local shops and Council wants to hear from you!

The draft Cumberland Local Shops Study explores how we can understand, protect and enhance our local shops to meet the needs of the community now and in the future.

Tell us your thoughts on the draft Cumberland Local Shops Study. The draft Study outlines:

  • what is happening at our local shops today
  • how we can continue to create inviting and vibrant local shops now and in the future
  • opportunities for improvements by Council, such as public domain upgrades and potential refinements to planning controls at some locations

We encourage you to review the information on this webpage or drop-in at one of our in-person sessions. Please provide your feedback by Tuesday, 31 October 2023.

NOTE: Consultation has now closed.
