Jack and Jill Reserve Berala - New Exeloo Toilet

Example of proposed public toilet amenity blockWe want your feedback!

August 2024 update:

The consultation on the proposed Exeloo for Jack and Jill Reserve in Berala has closed, and submissions are now being reviewed. Thank you to everyone who submitted feedback.

July 2024 consultation:

Council is proposing new public amenities in Jack and Jill Reserve, Berala.

The new amenities will be automated toilets, focusing on access, safety and serviceability. These will be consistent with other amenities within the Cumberland local area. These toilets comply with disability access requirements, are self-cleansing, highly durable and reduce safety and crime risks.

The amenities will be located in a convenient location within Jack and Jill Reserve, providing easy and equitable access to high-use areas such as the playground. Other factors considered in selecting this location include:

  • The minimisation of disruption related to connecting services (i.e. sewer)
  • Principles of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED)

View the Jack and Jill Reserve Exeloo map in the document library for the location of the proposed toilet.
