March 2021 consultation:
Cumberland City Council is undertaking early consultation on land use planning for the Granville town centre and surrounds, and we invite you to have your say.
We are proposing a planning framework to guide future development for the Granville area. It proposes to retain existing controls in the town centre that already allows for growth, and continues to support heritage controls in the local area. The framework also proposes to focus additional growth in a small area between Granville and Clyde and along the Woodville Road corridor, as these areas can take advantage of existing and planned infrastructure and facilities.
Where no changes are proposed, the existing planning controls will continue to apply in these areas.
The proposed framework will also inform the preparation of detailed planning controls for sites within the town centre and surrounds, including a Planning Proposal and Development Control Plan.
We encourage you to view the early consultation materials for the Granville town centre and surrounds in the Document Library on the right or via the links below and have your say.
