September 2022 update:
The Granville Park Fields 3, 4 & 5 Upgrade is still continuing with a completion date by the end of October 2022 weather permitting.
The Granville Park Fields 3, 4 & 5 Upgrade Project will be commencing on Monday 28 March 2022 and will be completed in October 2022, weather permitting.
The upgrade works will include the installation of a new irrigation and floodlighting system. Upgrading the existing facility will ensure growth and participation that will meet the needs of the growing community.
NEVER STOP Pty Ltd has been contracted by Cumberland City Council as the Principal Contractor to undertake the Irrigation Upgrade works on behalf of Council. NEVER STOP Pty Ltd staff will assist you with any concerns that you may have relating to the irrigation upgrade works and should be your first point of contact regarding any issues throughout the project.
Hours of work permissible are as follows:
- Monday to Friday - 7am to 5pm
- Saturday - 8am to 4
- Sundays and Public Holidays - no work is permitted (incl deliveries)
It is expected that there will be minimal impact on residents as the work will be largely contained within Granville Park. Access to the site will generally be from Claremont Street. As the work involves machine excavation, there may be some noise disruptions.
Council apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused during construction and looks forward to your patience and cooperation during this project.
