Mona Street Auburn - Proposed Parking Restrictions

Have your say on the proposed parking restrictions in Mona Street Auburn

Cars parked by the side of a road

Council has received ongoing concerns about traffic congestion during peak hours on Mona Street, Auburn heading towards South Granville. At its recent meeting, Council resolved to undertake consultation with residents and the broader community on proposed changes to parking restrictions along Mona Street.

Council is proposing part time parking restrictions to allow two travel lanes for a longer stretch of road along Mona Street. Two options are proposed; parking restrictions in the AM/PM peak periods; or parking restrictions in the PM peak period only. Residents will still be able to park outside of these hours.

Council is seeking feedback from surrounding residents to determine support for the installation of the proposed parking restrictions. You can view the proposed plans below or download copies of them in the document library.
