January 2024 update:

This has been finalised, and the Deed of Easement has been granted for the drainage through part Council owned land to the adjoining property owner at 18 Finlayson Street, South Wentworthville.


September 2023 update:

Consultation on the Proposed Easement Finlayson Street South Wentworthville has closed, and submissions are now being reviewed. Thank you to everyone who submitted feedback.


August 2023 consultation:

Cumberland Council is giving notification of the proposal of granting a drainage easement through part of Council owned land (Park) know as Monterey Street Park located at 50A Monterey Street South Wentworthville (Lot 2 DP 800104) to the adjoining property owner at 18 Finlayson Street, South Wentworthville (Lot 575 DP 650609) in accordance with Development Consent DA2021/0571.

The land affected by the easement is within Lot 575 in Deposited Plan 650609 and Lot 2 in Deposited Plan 800104, which forms part of Council’s larger landholding and will occupy an approximate area of 6.17 square metres (1 metre in width and 6.17 metres in length) for a term in perpetuity.

Submissions concerning the above proposal are to be made by 5pm Tuesday 5 September 2023.
