September 2022 consultation:

Council invites you to have your say on a planning proposal request (proponent initiated) to amend planning controls for a site at 25 South Parade, Auburn. The Proposal seeks to facilitate the redevelopment of an underutilised site (including a building) located within the Auburn Town Centre which is currently zoned IN1 General Industrial.

To achieve the intended outcome, the proposal seeks to amend the site’s planning controls under Cumberland Local Environmental Plan 2021 to:

  • Introduce health services facilities, business premises and office premises as additional permitted uses to amend to Schedule 1
  • Amend the site’s existing building height control from Nil height to 9 metres.

The early consultation for the planning proposal and supporting documentation is on exhibition online from Friday 23 September to Monday 17 October 2022. During this time, we encourage you to view the exhibition material in the document library on this page and have your say.  All submissions on this early consultation should reference PP 2022/0004.
