Council Staff have been working to progress the Stage 2 works in the Phillips Park Landscape Masterplan, exhibited to the community at the end of 2022. Stage 2 works include an inclusive playspace to the southern side of the park, the construction of footpaths to create a walking/exercise loop, junior bike and scooter tracks and supporting infrastructure.

The detailed design for these works is now complete and the next step will be for Council to engage suitably qualified contractors to carry out the works. These works are expected to be completed within the 2023-24 financial year, weather permitting.
