June 2021 consultation:
Within Council's Open Space and Recreation Strategy Strategic Direction 1 outlines to deliver new open space and new recreation facilities that meet the needs of our growing population.
Council is conducting a detailed review of the open space needs for the area for the next 10 – 15 years and has identified that some places across the LGA have not got enough open space or the right types of open space. These gaps are growing with population and housing changes.
We want to gather further information from the community about your priorities for improving open space, how you use and how often you use open space and parks and where.
Community consultation is now open from Wednesday 30 June to Wednesday 28 July 2021. During this community consultation period, residents are encouraged to submit their comments by completing the below survey
