Latest updates on the Joseph Street Precinct
Following the adoption of the Lidcombe Town Centre Public Domain Plan, Council has prepared concept plans to transform Joseph Street Precinct. The concept plan aims to give the community more public space, better public streets with a range of facilities including outdoor dining opportunities, new tree canopy cover, public art and new street furniture.

Expressions of Interest Now Open for Joseph Street Public Art Projects
Cumberland City Council is inviting artists with a connection to our community to apply for two new public art opportunities as part of the Joseph Street Precinct Upgrade in Lidcombe.
As the precinct continues its transformation into a vibrant, contemporary destination, these public art commissions will celebrate the culture, creativity and diversity of the local community. Council is now seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from artists for two projects:
Street Banner Series - Joseph Street Precinct 
Cumberland City Council and cutators Creative Road invite artists living in, from or with a strong connection to Cumberland LGA to submit an Expression of Interest to design the inaugural street banner artworks for the Joseph Street Precinct Upgrade. These works will contribute to a visually rich streetscape that reflects Lidcombe's multicultural identity.

Digital Art Platform - Joseph Street Precinct
Cumberland City Council and Creative Road invite artists living in, from, or with a strong connection to Cumberland LGA to submit an Expression of Interest to be considered for display on the new Digital Art Platform to be installed as part of the Joseph Street Precinct Upgrade.
