September 2021 consultation:

As part of the revitalisation of Lidcombe town centre, Council is considering opportunities to make the best use of property holdings and supporting improvements to local infrastructure to meet current and future needs.

Cumberland City Council is considering the sale and redevelopment of the public carpark at 13 John Street, Lidcombe. Council is progressing a process to support the redevelopment of this site while ensuring that carparking needs for the community are integrated in this proposal.

Council is seeking community feedback on options to maintain and improve carparking at 13 John Street, Lidcombe prior to making a final decision on the sale and redevelopment of the site.

There are three ways you can lodge a submission:

  1. Complete an online submission below.
  2. Email it to Council@cumberland.nsw.gov.au
  3. Post it to The General Manager, Cumberland City Council, PO Box 42, Merrylands NSW 2160.

Opportunity to submit feedback will conclude on 11 October 2021

It is intended that the matter will be considered at the Council meeting in the second half of October 2021
