Proposed dedication, closure & eventual sale of the Laneway located Off Hezlet Street Lidcombe
Notice is given that Council that proposes to proceed with the dedication of a laneway as a public road under s.16 & s.17 and upon dedication proceed to close the council road & eventual sale of the Laneway off Hezlet Street Lidcombe NSW 2141, in pursuance of the provisions of the Roads Act 1993.
The subject section of laneway is bounded to the west by Lot 1, DP873441 and Lot 1, DP528276 to the east which is owned by the Proponent, and to the south by Haslam’s Creek and to the north by the M4 Motorway. Access to the site is restricted to pedestrian traffic only via the Louise Sauvage Pathway which extends from Adderley Street East and traverses the northern boundary of the subject site.

The Proposed Road Closure of the Laneway off Hezlet Street Lidcombe is on exhibition from Friday 20 January to Tuesday 21 February 2023. During this community consultation period, residents are encouraged to submit their comments on the proposal. Anyone who wishes to provide feedback on the proposal must do so in writing by 5pm Tuesday 21 February 2023.
