We're proposing improvements to various parks in Greystanes and we want your feedback!
Every year, Council conducts park improvement projects through various programs to meet the growing needs of our community. Council has prepared a draft concept plans for Daisy Street Park and Darling Street Park in Greystanes and would like your feedback on the proposed designs:
- Daisy Street Park
The proposal includes creation a new playground in the corner of Daisy Street Park. The playspace includes a variety of play equipment to support diverse play experiences for children of different ages and abilities. Other proposed features include a shade sail, a new footpath, a new park furniture for more seating, planting and new surface treatments.
- Darling Street Park
The proposal includes a new playspace and bike/scooter track with a range of features for new riders to develop and test their skills. The playspace includes a sensory play area along with a range of traditional play equipment to support diverse play experiences for children of different ages and abilities. A new footpath is proposed linking from the darling street entry through to the parking area to improve connectivity through the site.
The community consultation period runs from Monday 13 October 2025 until Monday 10 November 2025. During this community consultation period, residents are encouraged to submit their comments on the proposal. The proposed concept designs can be found in the Document Library.
