Cricket Wicket Upgrades

Council is doing improvements to cricket pitches across Cumberland City!

June 2023 Update

The upgrades to the cricket wicket pitches are now complete, and parks are ready to be used by the community.

March 2023 Update

We're renewing the cricket wicket pitches at the following locations across Cumberland:

Auburn Park
Coleman Park Field 1
Guilfoyle Park Cricket Pitch
Wyatt Park Sportsfields
Pitt Park
MJ Bennet Reserve

The upgrades involve the renewal or replacement of synthetic cricket wickets, and will start late March 2023. We encourage you to view the maps of the upgrades in the gallery on the side.

Work is expected to be completed by late-June 2023, weather permitting. During this time we’ll aim to minimise any inconvenience.
