July 2023 Update
Council invited you to have your say on a site-specific development control plan prepared for 1 Crescent Street, Holroyd NSW 2142. On 5 July 2023, it was resolved to exhibit the Council-initiated site-specific development control plan for the site shown in the map below.
About the proposal
The proponent-initiated planning proposal was notified in April 2022 and came into effect on 1 November 2022. The Sydney Central City Planning Panel and Department of Planning and Environment were the relevant planning authorities for the proposal. At the time when the Local Environmental Plan amendment was notified there was no site-specific development control plan prepared for the site.
Clause 6.20 (2) of Cumberland LEP 2021 requires a site specific DCP prior to assessment of any development application for the site. To fulfill the above requirements, Council has prepared a site-specific development control plan.
The draft site-specific DCP aims to provide the vision and masterplan, general and site-specific objectives and development controls for the site to enable future development on site with the provision of infrastructure and services.
