Create Cumberland: Our Community Strategic Plan

Tell us your vision for the future of Cumberland

Create Cumberland projectThe Community Strategic Plan (CSP) is our long-term plan for our city, created by the community of Cumberland. The CSP reflects the community's long-term vision for the future of Cumberland. The Council must review the CSP every 4 years, following an ordinary election of Councillors. In preparation for the upcoming 2024 Council elections, we've started the process of reviewing and updating our CSP. Any changes to the CSP must be adopted by Council by June 2025.

Our strategic current goals, as identified by the community are:

  1. Supporting community health, safety and wellbeing
  2. Enhancing the natural and built environment
  3. Delivering sustainable infrastructure and services
  4. Providing local leadership

Now it is up to you!

We want you to fill out the survey below, and let us know:

  • What you love about Cumberland?
  • Where do you want to be by 2035?
  • What goals or objectives do you think could drive or improve the future of Cumberland?

We know our community are passionate about the future of Cumberland. Now is your chance to give feedback on how we get there.

All participants, whether online or at one of our face to face sessions, are eligible to go into a prize draw. Terms and Conditions apply, so check them out in our document library.

    • Hit the green 'Save' icon at the end of the slider once you are happy with your choice.
    • Your changes will be updated on the second pie chart below, so you can compare the differences.
