Spencer Reserve - Playspace Upgrade

Every year, Council conducts park improvement projects through various programs to meet the growing needs of our community. Council has prepared a draft concept and has asked the community for feedback on the proposed design for Spencer Reserve, Berala

The proposal includes construction of a new playspace in a new location with better natural shade. New equipment is proposed to provide a range of play opportunities for a range of ages and abilities. Other proposed features include: a new footpath for accessibility, new park furniture for more seating,  planting and new surface treatments.

The community consultation period ran from Tuesday 3 February 2026 to Tuesday 3 March 2026. During this community consultation period, residents are encouraged to submit their comments on the proposal. The proposed concept design can be found in the Document Library.
