Daniel Street Park Cricket Nets Relocation

Cumberland Council advises that the cricket nets from Daniel Street Park will be getting relocated to Darling St Park Greystanes.

Works will commence mid-January 2021 and is expected to take approximately 6 weeks to complete, weather permitting.

During the dismantle and the re-install of these nets Council will aim to minimise any inconvenience.

August 2020 consultation:

Cumberland City Council is giving notification of the proposed relocation of cricket nets from Daniel Street Park to Darling Street Park. These nets are only 2 years old and are in good condition.

It is envisaged that this relocation will enhance healthy & active lifestyle and improve community participation in the sports activities.

For your reference, we have placed images that you can view of the current maps of the current location and the proposed location in the image gallery.

During this community consultation period, the residents are encouraged to submit their comments on the proposal.
