October 2023 Consultation:

Council invites you to have your say on the future of Westmead South. Building on the community and stakeholder feedback received and additional technical studies undertaken, the draft Westmead South Master Plan is now available for your review and feedback.

The draft Westmead South Master Plan sets out a vision and planning framework to guide the delivery of future development in the area. The plan seeks to provide more homes that are supported with shops, open spaces and infrastructure that will contribute to a more liveable, vibrant, and sustainable community for both existing and future residents

Following this engagement, Council will review submissions to prepare an updated draft Master Plan, draft Planning Proposal and draft planning controls. It is anticipated that these will be considered by the Cumberland Local Planning Panel and Council in 2024.
