March 2022 update:

Consultation has closed on the planning proposal request for 2-10 Victoria Street East, Lidcombe, and submissions are now being reviewed. Thank you to everyone who submitted feedback.


March 2022 consultation:

Council invited you to have your say on a request to reclassify land at 2-10 Victoria Street East, Lidcombe with adjoining land. The proposed site is indicated in the map below:

The proposal seeks to reclassify an existing Council owned underground drainage easement (outlined red) from ‘community land’ to ‘operational land’ by amending the Cumberland LEP 2021. This will enable the existing landowners to purchase the land from Council and develop the site and continue with the current ongoing land uses. Community land cannot be sold or developed.
