Consultation has concluded

Large tree at Lidcombe Oval, Lidcombe

Council is developing a Urban Tree Strategy that aims to encourage tree plantings and increase canopy cover across the Cumberland local government area. Central to the development of this strategy will be community input. In particular, we are keen to understand the challenges with planting trees and ways that would encourage more plantings on private property.

Your input will help Council understand:

  • Current community expectations and attitudes about trees
  • Concerns people might have about planting trees on their private property
  • Ways to encourage more plantings on private property

Have your say by completing the survey below or uploading a photo.

If you have any questions about the Urban Tree Strategy, please contact Tim Nguyen on 8757 9804, or email Tim.Nguyen@Cumberland.nsw.gov.au.
