The exhibition period has now closed. Council is reviewing the draft policy and is expecting to report the findings from public exhibition to Council on 18 December 2019. The report will be made available a week prior to the Council meeting. More information about Council meetings, including addressing Council, can be found at by clicking here.

Council invited community input into the new Draft Risk Management Policy from 29 October 2019 to 26 November 2019. The policy provides a framework to drive risk-informed decision making.

The policy clearly communicates Council’s commitment to maintaining an effective and efficient risk management framework, and ensures that elected Council set the risk philosophy for the organisation to implement in its day-to-day operations. The Policy also outlines the key roles and responsibilities of all key stakeholders in the risk management process.
