Council has adopted an Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) to affirm Council’s commitment to being a community where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are valued and respected. It outlines the actions Council will take to further reconciliation over the next two years. You can view the adopted strategy below or by clicking here.

A draft RAP was co-developed with the community between May and July 2018, including face-to-face engagement with the public and schools, pop ups at a number of Council events and online surveys.

Council asked for feedback on the draft RAP in January and February 2019. No submissions were received

If you would like more information about this RAP, please contact Council's Aboriginal Education and Programs Officer on 8757 9000 or Council@Cumberland.nsw.gov.au.
