June 2023 update

Consultation of the Amended Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) for 1A-1B Queen Street Auburn has closed, and submissions are now being reveiwed. Thank you to everyone who submitted feedback. 


May 2023 consultation:

Council invites you to have your say on the Amended Voluntary Planning Agreement (VPA) for 1A-1B Queen Street Auburn.

Amended VPA seeks a revised timing of completion while the scope of works and land to be dedicated to Council have not change.

The Amended VPA seeks to provide the following public benefits:

  • Provide the upgrade to the Queen Street and Marion Street intersection and dedication of land.

Council values the opinions and suggestions of the community, and would appreciate your thoughts on the Amended Voluntary Planning Agreement for 1A-1B Queen Street Auburn.

The consultation period runs from Monday 22 May 2023 to Tuesday 20 June 2023. During this community consultation period, residents are encouraged to submit their comments. Anyone who wishes to provide feedback on the proposal must do so in writing by 6pm Tuesday 20 June 2023.

Submissions concerning the above are to be made by 6pm Tuesday 20 June 2023.

There are three ways you can lodge a submission:

  1. Complete an online submission below.
