June 2023 Update

Consultation on the Notice of Licence Proposal Merrylands has closed, and submissions are now being reviewed. Thank you to everyone who submitted feedback.


May 2023 Update

Cumberland Council hereby gives public notice of the proposal to grant licence agreement(s) over the land identified as Lot 43, Sec B, DP7916, Merrylands. Council proposes to enter into Licence agreements with community not for profit organisations for the use of community space for delivery of community support initiatives. The proposed licence is for an initial 1-year trial period, with a further 2-year option at the sole discretion of Council.


Now we want your feedback

The Notice of Licence Proposal Merrylands is on exhibition from Monday 15 May 2023 to Tuesday 13 June 2023. During this community consultation period, residents are encouraged to submit their comments on the proposal. Anyone who wishes to provide feedback on the proposal must do so in writing by 5pm Tuesday 13 June 2023.


To Make A Submission on the Proposal:

Submissions concerning the above proposal are to be made by Tuesday 13 June 2023.

There are three ways you can lodge a submission:
