This matter has been finalised, and Council has agreed to extend the licence agreement with Pemulwuy Community Group Incorporated for a further 4 years, making it now a 5 year term.
February 2024 update:
Consultation on the proposed extenstion to the Licence Agreement for Pemulwuy Community Garden has closed, and submissions are now being reviewed. Thank you to everyone who submitted feedback.
December 2023 consultation:
Cumberland City Council is proposing to grant Pemulwuy Community Group Incorporated an extension for an additional four (4) years to their current 12-month licence agreement, for the purpose of establishing and operating a community garden over the land being comprised as Lot 773 in DP 1152946 known as Nijong Drive, Pemulwuy NSW 2145. The new proposed term is a total of (five) 5 years, with the licence agreement commencing 2 November 2023 and expiring 1 November 2028.
