August 2021 update:

The survey is now closed, and submissions are now being reviewed. Thank you to all who provided feedback.

July 2021 consultation:

Council is seeking your knowledge and opinions about passive open space provision in Cumberland.

Council has reviewed the open space needs for the area for the next 10 – 15 years and has identified that some places across the LGA have not enough open space or the right types of open space. These gaps are growing with population and housing changes.

Mosaic Insights has been engaged to assist Council review open space and identify options to fill the gaps so Council can meet the community needs now and into the future.

Consultation is now open from Thursday 1 July to Thursday 29 July 2021. During this period, Cumberland City Council staff are encouraged to submit their comments by completing the survey about passive open space.  Passive open space is all recreational uses of open spaces or parts of open spaces not associated with organised sport.

You will receive a link to the survey via email. If you have not received the link, please let us know as we would love to get your feedback.

To respond to the survey:

Submissions concerning the above proposal are to be made by 29 July 2021.

To lodge a submission, complete the online survey using the link provided in the staff email.
