Library Committee

Consultation has concluded

Cumberland Council is inviting expressions of interest from community members to be part of the Library Committee.

The purpose of the Committee is to monitor library progress and provide advice to library management and staff on library strategies and priorities. The Library Committee provides a forum for discussion on library matters and may make recommendations to Council.

The Committee will meet at least quarterly and operate under Council’s corporate governance framework, including the Code of Conduct.

The second round of Expressions of Interest for the Advisory Committee is open until 4pm, Friday 27 April 2018.
