Installation of Park Furniture in Girraween is now complete.

July 2023 update:

Consultation on the Park Furniture Installation in Girraween has closed and submissions are being reviewed. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback.

June 2023 consultation:

Council is proposed additional picnic settings/seats in the following parks:

Targo Road Reserve, 195 Targo Road , Girraween
Bukari Reserve, 81 Oramzi Rd , Girraween,
Toongabbie Reserve, Corner Targo Road and Toongabbie Road, Toongabbie

The construction of the nearby Civic Park has provided an opportunity to relocate existing seating into nearby parks. This adaptive reuse will enable improved seating options within the local area.

During this community consultation period, residents were encouraged to submit their feedback.
