Proposed Flood Mitigation Works – Harry Gapes Reserve, Wolseley Street Merrylands

Consultation has concluded

A design and location plan has been prepared to undertake flood mitigation works along Little Duck Creek and Wolseley Street.

The proposed works will include the removal of existing vegetation on both banks, and the modification of the banks of Little Duck Creek to reduce the chances of flooding affecting nearby residences by clearing built-up sediment from the creek banks and building sandstone retaining walls within the creek channel to contain waters.
