Environmental Management Framework 2019

Consultation has concluded

Council has adopted an Environmental Management Framework. It reinforces Council's commitment to Ecologically Sustainable Development principles and ensures that the environment is considered in the operations of Council. It also identifies relevant Council plans and strategies that address environmental issues, legislative requirements and any further gaps. You can view the adopted framework below or by clicking here.

Council asked for feedback on the draft framework in April and May 2018 and then again in May and June 2019. Two submissions were received. The response to these submissions can be found by clicking here.

If you would like more information about this framework, please click here or contact Council's Environmental Management Officer on 8757 9000 or Council@cumberland.nsw.gov.au.
