June 2024 update

The Draft Engineering Services Policy and Draft Engineering Services Guidelines were adopted by Council at its meeting on 17 April 2024. The minutes of this meeting are available on the Council website.

The final version of the Enginerng Services Policy and the Engineering Services Guildlines are also available on the Council website.


July 2023 update:

Consultation on the Draft Engineerings Services Policy 2023 and the Draft Engineering Services Guidelines 2023 has closed and submissions are being reviewed. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback.


June 2023 consultation:

Cumberland City Council is giving notification of the exhibition of the Draft Engineerings Services Policy 2023 and the Draft Engineering Services Guidelines 2023. These Policies will be exhibited for a period of 28 days as resolved at the preceeding Council meeting. All submissions made to these policies will be made public and considered by Council.

Council values the opinions and suggestions of the community, and would appreciate your input on the Draft Engineerings Services Policy 2023 and the Draft Engineering Services Guidelines 2023.

We encourage you to download a copy of the relevant documents for review from our document library.

The consultation period runs from Monday 19 June 2023 to Monday 17 July 2023. During this community consultation period, residents are encouraged to submit their comments on the proposal. Anyone who wishes to provide feedback on the proposal must do so in writing by 6pm Monday 17 July 2023.


To Make A Submission on the Proposal:

Submissions concerning this proposal are to be made by 6pm Monday 17 July 2023.

There are three ways you can lodge a submission:

  1. Complete an online submission below.
  2. Email your submission to Council@cumberland.nsw.gov.au
  3. Post your submission to The General Manager, Cumberland City Council, PO Box 42, Merrylands NSW 2160.
