The exhibition period has now closed. Council is reviewing the draft policy and guideline and is expecting to report the findings from public exhibition to Council on 18 December 2019. The report will be made available a week prior to the Council meeting. More information about Council meetings, including addressing Council, can be found at by clicking here.

Council invited community input into the revised Draft Compliance and Enforcement Policy from 29 October 2019 to 26 November 2019.

The draft policy aims to ensure that Council’s regulatory functions are exercised consistently and without bias, in accordance with legislation. The policy will assist Council officers to respond consistently and effectively to complaints of unlawful activity.

A Draft Compliance and Enforcement Guideline is also open for comment. It will assist in the implementation of the policy.
