The nomination period has now closed. Council is reviewing the applicants and is expecting to report the recommended nominations to Council on 18 December 2019. The report will be made available a week prior to the Council meeting. More information about Council meetings, including addressing Council, can be found at by clicking here. All applicants will be notified of the result as soon as possible after the Council meeting.

Council sought nominations for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Consultative (ATSIC) Committee for 2020-21 from 3 October 2019 to 8 November 2019.

As part of the ATSIC Committee, you will provide strategic advice and advocate on issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in the Cumberland Local Government Area. You will be engaged to inform and improve Council's decision making in relation to policy, programs and service delivery.

Members of the committee are volunteers and meet at least four times a year. An overview of the responsibilities of the Committee and how it operates can be found in the Terms of Reference.
