August 2024 update
Consultation has closed on the Proposed Granting of Carparking Licence and Lease Agreement for 7 Hyland Road, Greystanes, and submissions are now being reviewed. Thank you to everyone who submitted feedback.
July 2024 consultation
Notice is hereby given Under Section 47 of the Local Government Act 1993, advising that Cumberland City Council proposes to grant Car Parking Licence Agreement and Lease Agreement to Sydney Marae Alliance (ABN 54 599 783 835) in respect of the land identified as Lot 2 in DP 525167 known as 7 Hyland Road, Greystanes NSW 2145. The proposed lease is for a twenty (20) year period.
The proposed Carparking Licence Agreement is for the parking of motor vehicles in accordance with any parking control signage at the Premises. The proposed Lease consists of four consecutive 5-year agreements for a total term of up to twenty (20) years for the purpose of building and operating the Cultural and Education Centre, and ancillary activities.

The consultation period ran from Friday 12 July 2024 to Friday 23 August 2024. During this community consultation period, residents were encouraged to submit their comments on the proposal. Anyone who wished to provide feedback on the proposal were to do so in writing by 5pm Friday 23 August 2024.
